The Mods of the 1960's were sharply dressed and rode scooters, such as Lambrettas or Vespas. Their tailored clothes belied their often violent behaviour, such as the infamous battles between the Mods and the Rockers, as depicted in films such as Quadrephenia, for which Mod royalty The Who provided the soundtrack.
