With so much fighting going on in the world, and so many innocent people in the world being killed or having their homes and families destroyed, we thought it was high time that we put an anti-war and pro peace section here in the T-Shirt Shop. War has always been around, and it has always been terrible. Today's excuses for blowing each other up are no different to those of days gone by. War destroys lives, families, homes, cultures, and generations. Peace, on the other hand, tends not to do that. All war is failure. When terrorism strikes, it is failure. When armies march into foreign lands, it is failure. When children die, or bleed, or grow up alone, or are forced into becoming child soldiers, it is failure. We aren't kidding ourselves that wearing a t-shirt or owning a mug is going to wipe out the evils in the world. But the freedom to speak your mind is what many wars are supposedly fought over, and that should include the freedom to say that innocent people and young soldiers with their whole lives ahead of them shouldn't have to die grisly deaths over abstract ideas like the creation of wealth or religion.
