Give Peace A Chance, a simple and effective expression, perhaps made most famous by John Lennon during his post-Beatles peace protests, in which he and Yoko Ono staged a series of "bed-ins" to attract the media to their anti-war stance. Since then, the song of the same name, and the slogan itself, are evocative of a pure and simple desire for a world of tolerance and diplomacy instead of war and hatred.
