Today's videogames are incredible, and created by huge teams of highly-skilled experts to give us the ultimate visual and sonic experience, and all in the comfort of our own homes. Back in the day, though, the best you could hope for at home was something a lot simpler, like the legendary bat and ball games which were among the pioneers of the home gaming market. But regardless of the primitive technology involved, it still felt great to beat your friends to a pulp on your very own home arcade game.
