The early starships of Star Trek had mission patches like the real-life spacecraft of today. These patches were later replaced by different insignias, but those were later standardised so that the crew of every vessel wore the arrowhead-shaped emblem previously associated with the USS Enterprise commanded by Captain Kirk. Some enterprising (no pun intended) Starfleet types have created this Enterprise D mission patch based on the Enterprise NX-01 patch. Showing the Galaxy class USS Enterprise commanded by Jean Luc Picard, this is perhaps what members of the Enterprise-D's crew might have used as a mission patch if they had still been in use in the 24th Century. This is a unique and interesting Star Trek design, and one that makes a great gift for fans of Star Trek: The Next Generation. Beam one up to your home today.
