In Star Trek, The USS Enterprise NCC 1701-C was built at Earth Station McKinley Fleet Yards. This design commemorates that fact and is the kind of thing that perhaps the Starfleet personnel involved in the design and construction of the famous and ill-fated starship may have been awarded by the United Federation of Planets when the Enterprise-C was launched in 2332. This version of the design has been given an aged, washed look for that worn effect.
