The T-shirt Shop > 1940's

WORLD WAR II was a time of hardship and fear for much of the world. With industry and agriculture disrupted across the globe for much of the 1940's, it fell to every citizen to do their bit for the war effort. Some joined the armed forces and became the troops that held back the march across Europe of Nazi Germany and their allies in Italy and Japan. At home, it was time to step up production in the factories and fields, to keep a constant supply of weaponry, equipment and sustenance moving to those at the sharp end.

We've collected a range of 1940's propaganda posters and made them into a range of excellent gifts and decor for you, your friends and your home. Some of the images are striking, some beautiful. Others still have a resonance in today's world.

Click on an item to get more information on it (or if you want to buy it, of course).

Aircraft of the RAF
